Our parents joined us in the autumn term to see our new classroom	They got to join in with our activities	They had a go at craft activities
It was great for them to see what we do in school	They all enjoyed working in our construction area	This dad was a big fan of our interactive screen
We also showed them Purple Mash on the iPad

We went to the Ysgol Maes Owen woodland area for an afternoon of learning	We collected leaves so we could play ‘Leaf Ninjas’	The aim is to be the first to take the leaf off your partner’s arm
Mrs Davies then taught us how to tie a reef knot	It was quite tricky and took lots of concentration	Working together was great fun

This was our first visit of the year to the leisure centre	It is great to use this facility for some of our PE sessions	The little cars are fantastic fun
We had races with our friends	Bowling was one of our favourite activities	We bounced our way across the floor on space hoppers

As part of our creative project with Stuart and Libby, we spoke about our wishes	We wrote or drew pictures on stars to tell our wish	The stars were then decorated with dazzling colours
This wish was about a special friendship	All of our wishes are now on our wishing tree
