  We were so excited to return to school and to see our new children's toilets. Andy Birch, a local artist, has transformed our toilets. They are now a place we can respect and look after. Diolch Andy

  Have you heard our exciting news? Ysgol y Foryd has been nominated as one of the top 3 Primary Schools in North Wales!! Mrs N Williams has been nominated as one of the top 3 teachers in North Wales!! And Mrs Maher has been nominated as one of the top 3 support workers in North Wales!! We are so proud of our Y Foryd family and can't thank you all enough! We will be heading to the award ceremony in October and will keep you updated!

  Today, Libby and Stuart from Magic Light Productions came back to school to see if we had collected enough badges to make Enterprising Efan, Ethical Emrys, Healthy Haf and Ambitious Anwen fly again. We shared how we had collected the badges and then we took Efan, Emrys, Haf and Anwen outside and guess what? They flew away!!!   Libby and Stuart from Magic Light Productions came back to school today to see if we had collected enough badges to make Enterprising Efan, Ethical Emrys, Healthy Haf and Ambitious Anwen fly again. We shared what we had been doing to earn the badges and placed them on our stars before taking them outside, and guess what? We made them fly!!!!!!!!
