Liam shared his musical skills with us and we wrote our own songs
Sal worked with us too, helping us to make adverts to promote our inventions
Liam also taught us some of his drawing and sketching techniques
It was great to watch him at work
This is us making like the Afanc in the hall
The Afanc is a creature that is half crocodile and half beaver
It is a very fierce creature!
We made signs to hold up during our Afanc parade
They were to tell the Afanc to stay away!
We put on our grumpy faces to tell the Afanc to stay away
Easter Hat Parade - Look At Our Special Creations!
‘The Big Draw’
‘The Big Draw’ is an event to raise the profile of drawing
This task included the Eco theme of polar bears
We followed the steps carefully to draw the animal
Each part of the animal was carefully drawn
It was great to share our work with our friends
‘I am so proud of my drawing’
Learning About Colours
We investigated the effect of mixing colours
It was fun to guess what colours would be made
This was a great way of learning how to use watercolour paint
Some of the results really surprised us
We also wrote the colour names
International Dot Week
We enjoyed doing activities for this special week
This artwork was to produce paintings of flowers
We used the brushes carefully
First we painted the flower stem
We used water to get the right paint colour
This activity was, “Draw a dot, see where it goes”
We started with a single dot
Then we added other detail to make a full picture
Stencils made it fun too
Working alongside our friends is great
We were very proud of our finished work
The dots on here were the animals’ eyes
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
