Playground Buddies / ffrindiau'r buarth
At Ysgol Y Foryd we have two playground buddies in each class. They are responsible for setting up and clearing away our playground equipment. The playground buddies are also available for children whom may need help, are hurt or have no one to play with.
Playground buddies are rotated weekly and wear a personalised high-viz jacket.
We have a very important job to do.
Year 2 want new footballs
On Wednesday, 1st of February, I received an urgent video message from the Year 2 children. Their footballs were all flat and they wanted football nets too. So, yesterday I was pleased that I could deliver 3 new footballs and football nets for the Year 2 children to use during their dinner time play. Mrs Maher and Mrs Patterson had great fun - but we have asked Maes Owen if they have any friends in Year 3 and 4 who could come and help the boys and girls play football. Watch out for new exciting updates about our football players in Year 2.
