Autumn term / Tymor yr Hydref

It’s the Autumn term and we are excited for the year ahead. This term our topic is Elmer the patchwork elephant. Will be looking at friendships, being happy, being individual, celebrating ourselves, colours, weather and so much more. 

We will have our parents Open Day, Come Dine with me, Harvest songs and Christmas songs and celebration in St.Mary’s....lots of opportunities for our parents and families to join in with our learning.

Mae hi’n dymor yr Hydref ac rydyn ni’n edrych ymlaen at y flwyddyn. Ein thema yw Elfed yr eliffant. Byddwn yn dysgu am ffrindiau, teimladau, dathlu ein hunain, lliwiau, tywydd a llawer mwy.

Byddwn yn cynnal diwrnod agored i’r rhieni, dewch i fwyta a ni, caneuon Diolchgarwch, caneuon Nadolig yn St.Mary’. Pob un yn gyfle i’r rhieni a’r teuluoedd ymuno yn ein dysgu.

Spring term / Tymor y Gwanwyn

We returned after Christmas to Science week and the we started our topic “When I go to sleep”. We will be working on two stories, Whatever Next by Jill Murphy and Aliens love Underpants by Clair Freeman. We will be exploring Space and diving into the stories, helping the characters. Our class assembly falls in the Slring term so we hope you will be able to join us. There will be lots to celebrate in our Welsh culture - Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen, Dydd Miwsig Cymru, Dydd Gwyl Dewi, Eisteddfod and much more - we are proud to live in Wales.

Ar ol dychwelyd ar ol y Nadolig, mi fydden ni’n dechrau gyda Wythnos Wyddoniaeth cyn dechrau ein thema ‘Pan af i gysgu’. Mi fydden ni yn gweithio ar ddau brif stori, Whatever Next a Aliens lone underpants. Can helpu y cymeriadau, dysgu am y gosod a llawer mwy. Mae tymor y Gwanwyn yn gyfnod i ddathlu- Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen, Dydd Miwsig Cymru, Dydd Gwyl Dewi, Eisteddfod a llawer mwy - rydyn ni yn falch o fod yn Gymry.
